A note on Portal booking

Our Portal events and courses are set to be browseable and bookable only for those users set to the SAS-specific account role.

If you are having trouble booking, please ensure that when you open your 'Account Settings' (button on the top-left of your Portal screen), underneath the 'Your Account Category' section, your Account Role is set to 'Specialty Doctor/Associate Specialist'. Please note that you may want to change your Account Role back if (to give some examples) you are a dentist, psychiatrist or paediatrician and wish to view and book any non-SAS courses related to those roles.

If you would rather not change your Portal account role, please email us at SASDevelopment@nes.scot.nhs.uk and we will be able to book you onto any SAS course/event with places remaining, regardless of your settings.

For problems registering with Portal or other technical issues, please contact the support team at portal@nes.scot.nhs.uk.
