The Scottish Foundation School provides a wide range of programmes offering a unique experience covering different types of populations, teaching hospitals to remote and rural hospitals, many specialties as well as geographical diversity. The School delivers a taught programme to ensure trainees can meet the requirements of the curriculum and all Foundation Year 2 doctors undertake the recognised ALS course. All trainees have access to a named Educational Supervisor and utilise an e-portfolio and e-learning to support their training and provide evidence of their progress.
