The Local Training Quality Lead provides an integral link between the NES Medical Directorate and NHS Boards. The post holders are managed by the DMEs, appointed via NHS Boards and funded by NES. The key importance of the Local Training Quality Lead is the effective delivery of NES' Educational Governance strategy.
The Local Training Quality Lead also acts as the focal point for timely and accurate collection of data for monitoring purposes.
