SMERC work is regularly presented as symposia, research papers, short communications and posters at the mainstream medical education conferences, including the Association for the Study of Medical Education (ASME) Annual Scientific Meeting, the Association for Medical Education Europe (AMEE annual conference), and the biennial Ottowa Conferences.
SMERC members have also hosted MedEdWorld and Association of Medical Science Educators (AMSE) International Webinars.
SMERC has a strong presence at the annual NHS Education for Scotland Conferences which are held virtually in late April/early May each year.
