Dr David Hope is a psychometrician and medical educationalist specialising in assessment. He is the director of the PhD in Clinical Education programme and the co-chair of Research Ethics in the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. A Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, he has a particular interest in standard setting, quality assurance, and fairness in assessment.
