Thinking of becoming a trainer?

If you are thinking of becoming a trainer and seeking recognition, you should:

• Familiarise yourself with the criteria for recognition (including the minimum standards) and the recognition process.
• Complete any mandatory training
• Check any specific guidance for the role(s) you are performing with your Director of Medical Education (DME) or Education Organiser.
• Begin collecting evidence to present at your annual appraisal.

Information relating to the requirement and processes for both Initial and Ongoing recognition can be found in the Recognition of Trainers 'Manual'

All completed trainer registrations forms must be submitted to Local DME office for sign off.   The DME office will submit the relevant documents to ROT Team for recognition, do not send directly to RoT Team.
