The Deanery employs a number of lay representatives who take part in NES panels/committees at various local and national events relating to the management of postgraduate medical education, e.g. quality management visits, ARCP panels.
The lay representative is non-medical and impartial, with a fundamental role of ensuring transparency and adherence to due process. Lay representatives will have received training to attend NES panels and provide scrutiny of our processes.
