The Foundation School provides a link the UK Foundation Programme Office (UKFPO) and is involved in national matters such as recruitment/ allocation, curriculum updates, portfolio developments, pre-allocations, the Scottish Foundation School also provides information on Tasters, Prescribing Safety Assessment (PSA), Inter-Foundation School Transfers (IFSTs) and the Scottish Regional Foundation Transfers. The transfer processes cover foundation doctors both into and out of School amongst other things.
However, the Scottish Foundation School's role is not to provide support on your current training post as this is the role of the Foundation Programme Directors and Training Programme Management Administration Team.
The Scottish Foundation School will send you regular communications including information that will support you in your training.
