If you are unwell and are unable to come to work you must inform your rota organiser, department lead or the contact you were given at service induction. You should also inform your supervisor and your Training Programme administrator as this will need to be recorded.
Sometimes, doctors in training may find themselves facing a period of unexpected extended absence. This can have a significant impact in terms of financial, emotional, and physical wellbeing. NES offers further support and advice here.
