Obstetrics and Gynaecology is a diverse hospital-based specialty encompassing aspects of medicine, surgery and childbirth. It is this immense variety that is one of the major attractions to our speciality.
The curriculum is set by the RCOG and the delivery and assessment of training is overseen by NES. The curriculum offers broad based training in all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the first five years with opportunity to develop special interests and skills in the final 2 years of training.
