GUIDANCE FOR GP TRAINEES ATTENDING TRAINING WITH MILITARY RESERVES:
In line with national guidance, GPSTs in the Military Reserves are entitled to two weeks paid special leave annually to attend military training. As this would count as time out of GP training, this time would be added to other absences from training such as sick leave. If the total time out of GP training, for any reason, in one year is greater than two weeks this could affect the CCT date. It is important to have this leave approved by your TPD to ensure the leave is recorded centrally.
