Interested in a career in Anaesthetics? Come along to our FREE skills and education day on 09/06/2023 at Glasgow Royal Infirmary for a taste of anaesthetic life.
This course is an opportunity for junior doctors and medical students to gain practical experience in anaesthesia and learn about its many sub-specialties including critical care, obstetrics, peri-operative medicine, pain and regional anaesthesia.
We are lucky to be joined by the top ranked applicant for Anaesthetics Core Training in Scotland and Dr Gemma Scotland, a consultant Anaesthetist and interviewer who will discuss the application process. The course will also provide evidence of commitment to specialty for those considering applications.
The afternoon will focus on practical skills including airway, epidural/spinal anaesthesia and ultrasound.
Open to all junior doctors and senior medical students in Scotland, places are limited.
