Course/Event Date: Monday, January 1, 0001

Course/Event Duration:

Course/Event Description

The unique value of education and training through simulation is evident to all who have experienced this methodology on both sides of the trainer and student continuum. Simulation can be used to train people and analyse processes using a systems approach, looking at; the person, the team, the task, the workplace and the organisation as a whole.

The Centre provides training for over 1000 healthcare professionals each year through a variety of courses. The centre utilises METI, Laerdal and Gaumard simulators including adults, children and babies. The simulated environment provides a realistic experience akin to clinical reality without any risk to patients, allowing healthcare professionals to rehearse management of clinical scenarios.
