RGPAS ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2024

 

The Rural GP Association of Scotland (RGPAS) is having our annual conference on 15-17 November 2024 in Inverness. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet and learn from GPs working in remote and rural areas. 

 

This year's programme includes

• Conference Sessions

• Use of Ultrasound in Rural General Practice

• Body weight and type 2 diabetes: Seeing the wood from the trees - Professor Roy Taylor.

• Humanitarian crisis with refugees in Calais

• Resilience and support - interactive session/workshop (inc.NHS Practitioner Health)

• The improving recruitment of GP Trainees

• Career stories from 3 Rural GPs

• Emergency Medical Retrieval Service (EMRS) - hands on major scenario

• Report on the National Centre for Rural and Remote Health and Care

• Poster display and presentations of each winning category

 

We are also accepting submissions for our poster competition. Entries should relate to either sustainability, remote and rural, or quality improvement deemed of interest to Rural General Practice.
