Pressure on Gastroenterology services has increased over the last decade, especially with the pandemic preventing face-to-face clinics.
Morning topics include
- Gastrointestinal (GI) services in the 21st century
- Our Keynote, Dr Asma Fikree, “Nutritional aspects of functional GI disease – a case based discussion” will explain the place of enteral nutrition in patients with Functional Gut Disorders
Afternoon topics include
- Our Anaemia session will cover the latest BSG guidelines including referral, investigation and management
- Transition services in gastroenterology: multi-disciplinary panel from the Liverpool Transition Service
This symposium is suitable for all members of the Gastroenterology MDT: Consultant and Trainee Gastroenterologists, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Dieticians, Psychologists, Students and GPs, we do hope you will join us.
