The aim of the meeting is to raise awareness of Parkinson’s dementia, clinical assessment, treatment, research opportunities, service improvement projects and community resources and support. It is hosted by Parkinson’s UK. Full programme to follow.

Speakers and Topics include:
Prof Rimona Weil will discuss practical aspects of assessing and managing people with Parkinson’s dementia and demonstrate the Parkinson’s UK toolkits for professionals and information for those with Parkinson’s and their families.
Dr Sarah Marrinan will present a service improvement project which developed a Parkinson’s dementia MDT which highlights the benefits of collaborative working between Parkinson’s and psychiatry teams.
Dr Susan Angus will discuss current clinical research opportunities and how to involve your patients in research for Parkinson’s dementia.
We will also hear from people with lived experience of Parkinson’s related dementia and learn how Parkinson’s UK is collaborating with Alzheimer’s Scotland and other organisations to improve support and care.
