Course/Event Description

Two-day in person course allowing participants to acquire essential skills in cardiac MRI. The course covers minimum dataset required for EACVI/SCMR Level 1 training.

Course Content:

• MRI safety, sequences, accurate ventricular analysis, contraindications and artefacts.
• Basic anatomy and extra cardia findings.
• CMR in left ventricular cardiomyopathies.
• CMR in the investigation of coronary artery disease.
• Imaging for ARVC and mimics
• Masses and pericardial disease
• Aorta and valvular heart disease
• Infiltration and myocarditis
