Course/Event Description
There are a handful of remaining places for 29th February on the CVAC (central venous access course), open to anyone from any specialty of any grade foundation trainee to consultants. The course is run by WOSAT (West of Scotland Anaesthetics Training). The half day course and covers live model US scanning anatomy, needling techniques with phantom models, simulated CVC insertion and CXR interpretation for line placement.
