The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, NHS Education for Scotland and the Medical Schools Council are holding a research symposium for doctors and students and training in November in Edinburgh. You can find out more about the event here.
This symposium is aimed at undergraduate medical students and foundation trainees, and is an opportunity for them to present their research and quality improvement projects; build networks and to hear from established researchers about their own experience in establishing research careers.
All presenters will be awarded with a RCPE/NES certificate, and the best oral and poster presentations will be awarded with a medal and a QI4U license. Abstracts will also be published in the College Journal (online only).
RCPE also welcomes abstracts relating to infectious diseases, which will be considered for the Ambuj Nath Bose Bequest and the winner will receive £50.
