SMERC builds educational research skills within Scotland, and invites leading international researchers to collaborate with SMERC project teams. This builds a strong and varied output portfolio spanning academic publications in a range of quality pedagogic and medical journals, local, national and international presentations, impact on policy and practice priorities, involvement in dissemination and advisory roles, and capacity building for future medical educators.
