GP Retainer Scheme

Find out more about the GP Retainer Scheme run by NES for GPs to maintain their skills whilst unable to commit to full time practice.

The GP Retainer Scheme enables qualified GPs who are unable for the present to commit themselves to a full-time post to continue working in general practice in order to maintain and develop their skills and enter a permanent post when their circumstances permit.

Up to four sessions per week are available for a period not exceeding five years.
