It is important for the award of CCST that all programmes and locations where trainees are present are approved.
Specialty dental training is quality approved by the General Dental Council (GDC) and we collect information to inform the GDC process. The Associate Postgraduate Dean should be advised of all proposed changes to training sites or opportunities to ensure that correct processes are followed.
If there are serious training concerns within an existing programme or post, the Associate Postgraduate Dean should be advised immediately to discuss possible solutions.
